vonRueden, Katharine

Katharine vonRueden oversees the Healthy Kids Healthy Communities Program, a New Mexico Department of Health initiative focused on expanding healthy eating and physical activity opportunities for children and low-income adults across New Mexico through a multi-sector coalition-based approach. Ms. vonRueden earned her Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Epidemiology from the Colorado School of Public Health in 2010 and has extensive experience implementing and evaluating sustainable policy, systems, and environmental change strategies to prevent obesity and improve overall health equity at the state and local levels.
