Shelley Repp founded Spoken For in 2011 to provide resources for human trafficking victims, training and awareness for service professionals and the general population around trafficking issues. She developed relationships with local, state and federal agencies to ensure survivors of trafficking were identified and cared for. Shelley speaks and trains at a variety of venues including UNM, NMSU and CYFD. She is a member of the NM Human Trafficking Task Force and chairs Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking subcommittee. In January 2018 Shelley stepped into the role of Executive Director of the NM Dream Center to begin to provide services to minors who have been sex trafficked. In June 2018 Shelley opened The Harbour, Albuquerque’s first homeless youth drop-in center to provide services to the sexually exploitable homeless teen population. Shelley is considered an expert in understanding service provision and resourcing for human trafficking survivors.
