Erin Doerwald, LCSW is the Program Director for The Sky Center of the New Mexico Suicide Intervention Project (NMSIP). Erin oversees all Sky Center/NMSIP programs and is a clinical supervisor for the Graduate and Advanced Studies Training Program. Offering strong presentation and facilitation skills, Erin also supervises The Sky Center’s Inner and Outer Life Skills Group Program provided to students in the Santa Fe Public Schools. She is the team leader for Sky’s Trainings and Presentations Program and leads workshops for organizations and conferences. These trainings present an experiential and research-informed perspective on the connection between self-care, resilience, and suicide. She also co-founded The Sky Center’s Mindful Education Santa Fe Program in 2014, providing support for mindful awareness practices in New Mexico school communities. In 2017, she completed training in mindfulness facilitation from UCLA’s Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior and is a certified mindfulness facilitator with the International Mindfulness Teachers Association.
