Bernalillo Academy

Bernalillo Academy is a sub-acute, residential center for children five to eighteen years located in Albuquerque.  We provide intensive inpatient treatment for children with autism, Asperger’s, developmental delays and emotional/behavioral challenges who have not found success in other treatment settings.  Each child is provided a licensed therapist, psychiatrist, 24-hour nursing and on-site educational services.  Bernalillo Academy is Joint Commission Accredited and Licensed and Certified by New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department and accepts New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and Oklahoma Medicaid and limited commercial insurances.

Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Mexico

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico (BCBSNM) has been serving the health care needs of New Mexicans since 1940. Since 2008, BCBSNM has contracted with the State of New Mexico to participate in the Medicaid Managed Care Program, Salud!, offering BlueSaludSM to eligible Medicaid recipients. BlueSalud services are funded pursuant to an Agreement with the State of New Mexico. BCBSNM has also been selected by the State to serve as a managed care provider for the expanded Medicaid Centennial Care program, which will launch in January 2014. In addition, BCBSNM offers coverage for individuals and employer groups. BCBSNM has the most comprehensive network of any health care plan in New Mexico—over 22,000 providers. BCBSNM is a Division of Health Care Service Corporation, the nation’s largest non-investor-owned health care plan.
