Sheri Williams is an assistant professor in the college of education at the University of New Mexico. Her scholarship is focused on transformational leadership, critical thinking, and collective impact. She collaborates with university scholars, field practitioners, and community partners who strive to address the complex issues of school leadership. She brings 24 years of school administrative experience, having served as a building principal and superintendent of schools in rural and urban districts in Colorado and New Mexico. She is a former Board member with NM Voices for Children and serves on UNM’s Mission: Graduate Workgroup. She holds a certificate in executive leadership from the University of Colorado-Denver and is a graduate of Oklahoma State University where she earned her doctorate in educational psychology.
