Lorraine Sanchez received her bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2004. Lorraine graduated Magna Cum Laude and a Top Ten Senior. Lorraine has more than 12 years of nursing experience. Additionally, Lorraine has educational experience at the University of Texas at El Paso as a clinical nurse specialist in the clinical education in the bachelor’s nursing degree program in the areas of fundamentals and critical care. Lorraine received her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Texas in 2014. Lorraine is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in Family Practice. Lorraine has been working at La Clinica de Familia School Based Health Clinics at Centennial High School and Rio Grande Preparatory Institute since 2014. In 2015, La Clinica de Familia received the SBHC Champion award. Lorraine has also been a presenter at the Binational Social Work Conference in 2016.
