Daisy Rosero
Session #29

Daisy Rosero serves as Program Manager for two public health initiatives in the UNM Department of Pediatrics, the Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) program and the UNM Pediatrics, Healthy and Fit Children’s Clinic. She has over 16 years of experience working with minority populations in New Mexico. Prior to her appoint to the SBIRT program, she worked in the area of disability with the Center for Development Indian Children’s Program, the Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorders program and the Division of Health Policy. In addition to program development and management, Ms. Rosero has experience with conference planning. She functioned as the conference organizer for the annual Southwest Conference on Disability and the annual New Mexico Association for Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender Issues in Counseling (NMALGBTIC) conference. Ms. Rosero is also a strong supporter of the NMLGBT community and volunteers for various community LGBTQ organizations in New Mexico.
