Mia “Jeneva” Jio
Session #62

Jeneva Jio is a second year Master of Social Work Student at New Mexico State University. She is a Child Welfare Scholar, and recipient of the McCowen Behavioral Health Leadership Endowed Scholarship. As a community member in Las Cruces, she has worked and volunteered at agencies such as CYFD, La Casa, and the Las Cruces Public Schools. Her research and teaching interests are focused in child welfare and child welfare policy, specifically how policy and training effect mental health services provided to youth.
