Lindsey Lee

Lee received her bachelor’s in dental hygiene from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Or, in 2009 and her master’s degree in dental hygiene from the University of New Mexico in 2012. She joined the UNM dental hygiene faculty in 2009 on a part-time basis and started as a tenure-track assistant professor in 2016. Prof. Lee instructs in junior and senior clinic, teaches general and oral pathology, dental bio-materials, dental anatomy, medical emergencies, and coordinates the senior student’s extramural community enrichment experiences. She is also involved with UNM’s STEAM-H program (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math & Health) to promote dental and dental hygiene education, and collaborates with UNM’s nursing and PA programs by presenting oral pathology, caries and periodontal disease detection strategies.
