Daniel Shattuck is a PhD candidate in cultural anthropology at the University of New Mexico and is currently working as a research assistant at the Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation. His professional interests focus on disparities faced by LGBTQ communities, and his current projects include the Reducing LGBTQ Adolescent Suicide (RLAS) Through Implementing School Nursing Strategies. He also studies on improving emergency medical care for transgender populations.
