Claire Canfield is a native New Mexican with roots in Laguna Pueblo and in Albuquerque. Claire studied at the University of New Mexico receiving her BFA in art history in 2009, focusing on pre- and post-contact art of the Americas. She then moved into the nonprofit realm working with the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center in several capacities, including program management, volunteer coordination, fundraising and event planning for seven years. Claire also serves on the board of YNPN (Young Nonprofit Professionals Network) New Mexico chapter. Claire brings her passion for contributing to a positive change in our community and in the lives of our young people to NMCAN. A proud supporter of the arts and the Albuquerque community, she stays engaged by running in local charity runs and supporting and attending local community events. Claire also performs with and serves on the board of the Southwest Arts Group (SWAG).
