Jeffrey Beg
Session #34

Jeffrey Beg has been working with homeless youth in our community for close to two decades, both as an outreach worker and resource teacher. Jeff has a BA in Elementary Education and an MA in Research in Education, both from the University of New Mexico. He has experience in the classroom having taught fourth and fifth grade at Bandelier Elementary from 1998-2014. With the Homeless Project, Jeff has been responsible for adapting and creating a literacy-based tutoring model, establishing experiential curriculum for summer programs, and educating the community about the challenges that the homeless children of Albuquerque face every day.
