Andrea Andersen, MPH
Session #20

Andrea Andersen, MPH received her undergraduate training from the University of New Mexico, where she earned her degree in biology. She worked for various public health programs that target access to health care and education before receiving her MPH from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with an emphasis on maternal and child health. Her current role as project coordinator of the LARC Mentoring Program (LMP) at Envision New Mexico dovetails well with her belief that strong and healthy family units, whatever they may look like, are the foundation to happy, healthy and productive communities that nourish future generations. In addition, Andrea is also a quality improvement specialist and health educator working with school-based health centers throughout the state. In her spare time, Andrea likes working out, cooking and spending time with her fiancé and two dogs.
