Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico (BCBSNM) has been serving the healthcare needs of New Mexicans since 1940. Since 2008, BCBSNM has contracted with the State of New Mexico to participate in the Medicaid Managed Care Program for eligible Medicaid recipients. Blue Cross Community CentennialSM is the new Medicaid program offered by BCBSNM for financially eligible New Mexicans. In addition, BCBSNM offers coverage for individuals and employer groups. BCBSNM has the most comprehensive network of any health care plan in New Mexico—more than 23,000 providers. BCBSNM is a Division of Health Care Service Corporation, a Mutual Legal Reserve Company, an Independent Licensee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association. HCSC is the nation’s largest non-investor-owned health care plan. Services are funded in part under contract with the State of New Mexico.
